Preserve capitalization Attempts to match the capitalization pattern of the input text when converting words. Note that characters outside of the Latin alphabet may not have valid capitalized forms.

This is a tool for designing spelling systems for the English language. You can use it to describe a system that, based on how words are pronounced, will determine how they should be spelled. You can then convert texts from the traditional spelling to your new one.

Some notes on its functioning:

• Pronunciations are based on an American accent.
• Where words are spelled the same but pronounced differently, one pronunciation is chosen arbitrarily.
• Unrecognized words will appear in purple.
